The B52 Thermocouple is a very versatile design used for measuring brake disc and drum temperatures. This specific K Type B52 Embedded Brake Thermocouple features an open wire end and a grounded junction type. The wire insulation is solid fiberglass and has a wire gauge of 22 AWG and a length of 18”. The cap size includes an OD of 1/8”. Special order sizes are available, including 5.5mm diameter, that can be furnished and isolated from the copper tip to provide an ungrounded version for high noise applications.
